I have a mac too and to fix this you want to try opening Clangen, then go to System Preferences then to Security & Privacy, then at the bottom of that page there should be a button that says something like: Open CLangen anyways. I hope that helps!
I followed the instructions on how to open it, but when I looked through, there was only the folder including all the files and a TOML file called .itch.toml
One time all my cats died, the deputy, the medicine cat, and even the leader, and there wasn’t enough cats to get more, and there was only two cats left at one point, the leader, and an elder, and I made them mates, but they broke up! And so now PuddleClan is died out, and that was my favorite clan! 🙁

Just press the Windows key and type in task manager. Open what comes up in the first slot. Make sure you're on the Processes tab and then look for Clangen. Right click and hit End Task. You're now a tech wizard! :D
HP Chromebooks run on ChromeOS. To put it a little bluntly, ChromeOS is kinda stinky so programmers don't really support it when making game stuff. You're out of luck my friend; best you stick to the web version.

is this safe if yes how do i run it when i press clangen and run it it showed me this i extract it all already it just showed "Microsoft defender smartscreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your pc at risk"

does it say "macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware"? if you right click+open the app, you should get a different popup which lets you choose to open it anyway
Try right clicking and selecting 'Open' from the menu, if that doesn't work, you should be able to go into your system settings from the apple menu and allow it to run from the 'Privacy and Security' menu. Hope this helps!
I'm not that educated in software, but try uninstalling it and trying again. I believe a file is missing because extracting things can sometimes remove files and it takes a while for them to appear again.

Im not very helpful, BUT you may need to update the app by going to the downloads again once done open it, itll say "update ???" Then it may work

If you have two more cats try mating them, then skip some moons to try to get more kits or do patrol

Try force quitting the game in task manager then open it again. That might help

Which file are you trying to execute? The one that runs the game is called "main" (without the quotes)
